Dr-Sara-Riechers

Sara Riechers, DDS, FAGD

Dentist

Dr. Riechers (rhymes with “Stickers”) was born and raised in northwestern Arizona and graduated from the University of Arizona in Tucson before attending the School of Dentistry at the University of Washington in Seattle. After receiving her dental degree in 2007, she completed a one-year general residency (AEGD) in Yakima to expand her skills in surgery, pedodontics, endodontics, prosthodontics, special needs patients, and sedation. She worked for two years in Grants Pass at a local community clinic before beginning her own practice in 2010.

Illustrating her commitment to lifelong education and providing the best care possible for her patients, in 2022 Dr. Riechers was awarded a Fellowship from the Academy of General Dentistry after completing over 500 hundred of hours of continuing education courses and a rigorous examination.

In her free time, she stays busy doing all sorts of outdoor activities with her husband and two children, attends as many local concerts and music festivals as possible, and is a talented mandolin player – she especially enjoys folk, Irish, and bluegrass.

Ashley Annis

Office Manager

Ashley was born and raised in the Pacific Northwest. She immediately loved the dental field when she began in 2010 seeing first hand how a confident smile can change lives. She has worked with nearly all specialties and a wide variety of general dentists. Ashley has recently taken a few years off to begin a family and now has a daughter and two sons. She is so excited to be back in the office, and even more excited about the office and team she has found with Compassionate Dentistry.

Ashley enjoys the outdoors and water! She loves taking her three children, fiancé, and dog to explore new places.

Noelle Adams

Dental Hygienist

Noelle graduated in 2016 from Yakima Valley College with her bachelors degree and restorative function in dental hygiene. She moved from Eastern Washington to Grants Pass in 2017 when she married Jordan, a native to the area.

She loves her career as a hygienist because she can meet people where they are at without judgment and help them achieve and maintain a beautiful healthy smile. She prides herself on gentle but very thorough cleanings and helping patients who are anxious have a good experience at the dentist. When she is not at work, she loves spending time with her husband and 2 kids, and their dog. She loves hearing about her patients’ families and pets and seeing photos! When she’s out of the office, she loves photography, reading, and painting.

Paula Rae

Dental Hygienist

Paula Rae graduated in 1990 from Indiana University’s dental hygiene program, receiving the Rebecca Fisk Award for outstanding dental procedures. After graduation she moved to Grants Pass to buy her grandparent’s property.

She loves to cater to cowards. Her mission is to make people feel as comfortable as possible in the dental chair and work together to find the best way to maintain a healthy smile for a lifetime.

In her leisure time she loves, rafting, hiking, camping, rock hunting, attending music concerts and working on her property.

Lisa Renton

Dental Hygienist

Lisa was born and raised in Grants Pass. After graduating from GPHS, she attended University of Oregon and Lane Community College, receiving her dental hygiene degree in 1985. She lived and worked in Corvallis for more than thirty years, raising her two sons and enjoying various volunteer opportunities in her community. She recently moved back to Grants Pass to marry her high school sweetheart, himself a retired dentist. She has worked in both general dentistry and periodontal specialty offices. Her goal is always to perform very thorough yet very gentle cleanings, working with each patient to restore and maintain periodontal and dental health. She loves that her job allows her to meet lots of people. She truly enjoys getting to know each person, and has made many friends and hiking buddies with her patients over the years!

Her hobbies are hiking, rock hunting, kayaking, reading, travel, music,
gardening, nature photography, and cheering for the New York Mets!

Candace L. Gaver

Dental Hygienist

Candace was born in Napa, CA to loving parents. They are who helped pick dental hygiene as a profession. She attended Loma Linda University in California and has loved being a dental hygienist!

Candace has volunteered for free dental clinics to help those who can’t afford dentistry.

Candace and her husband moved to Oregon with their children to enjoy rain and green trees! In 2023 she settled in Ruch, OR where she lives on her daughter’s land in a tiny home.

Her daughter and daughter’s husband have many animals. Her joy is to feed treats to their dogs and cats. She has a big black cat that sleeps with her. Some of her hobbies include sun bathing, gardening, swimming, and singing at church.

She’s very thankful to God for her long life, 2 children, 6 grandchildren, and lots of family and friends!

Ashley Aguirre

Dental Assistant

Ashley was born and raised in Southern California. She discovered her love for the dental field when she began her training as an assistant in 2017, and has worked in cosmetic, family, and pediatric clinics. “What I love most about working in dental is the impact we can make. A confident new smile can change a life, and a compassionate team can make dental care fun.” Ashley also enjoys spending time with her family, attending church, outdoor recreation and education.

Rustie Rigel

Dental Assistant

Rustie has been in the dental field for 27 years. She started out by volunteering her time to get her foot in the door.

Rustie loves to help improve her patients’ smile and confidence one tooth at a time. She combines her humor with communication and knowledge to help relax them and make them comfortable.

Rustie enjoys spending time with her children and grandchildren along with family and friends. Her yard and garden are a passion. She also enjoys anything outside when the weather is warm.
